Hi, I’m Mahlet (ma-ha-let) Copeland! I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Cognitive Science and a Certificate in Design Innovation. During my time there, I developed a deep interest in human-centered design and what it truly means to create with empathy. I approach UI/UX design with a human-first mindset, aiming to craft experiences that are both intuitive and enjoyable.

When I’m not deep in a Figma file, you’ll probably find me experimenting in the kitchen, practicing photography, planning my next trip, obsessing over the perfect playlist, sketching, learning to sew, embroidering a bag, crocheting something cozy, reading, spending time with friends—or picking up yet another hobby.
